The essentials

BMB Lactation Clinic

The first few weeks of breastfeeding are rarely what mothers expect. Between navigating a painful latch, fluctuating milk supply, blocked ducts, and the quiet worry of whether your baby is getting enough, the early days of postpartum recovery can feel incredibly overwhelming.

None of these challenges have to be faced alone, and every single one of them is solvable with the right expert help at the right moment.

Navigating your feeding journey

Mums book us across the breastfeeding journey, but these are the eight most common reasons.

  • 01

Painful latch that isn't improving day to day.

  • 02

Concerns about milk supply, low or oversupply.

  • 03

Blocked ducts, engorgement, or signs of mastitis.

  • 04

Slow weight gain or worries about milk transfer.

  • 05

Tongue-tie suspicion or oral assessment needs.

  • 06

Returning to work and starting a pumping routine.

  • 07

    Transitioning between breast and bottle.

  • 08

Weaning support, gentle and on your timeline.

Credentials

Our Consultants

Every consultant on our team is an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) or a Certified Lactation Counsellor with years of clinical experience supporting Singapore mums. They train and update continuously, so the advice you receive reflects current evidence, not yesterday's protocol.

Our consultants are part of the broader BMB clinical team, which means seamless handover with our postnatal massage, lactation massage, and chiropractic services if you need a coordinated plan.

What happens in a session

The consultation

You'll spend the first ten minutes discussing your story so far, what's working, what's hard, what you'd love to fix. Then we observe a full feed together, take notes, and walk you through any adjustments to position, latch, supply support, or feeding rhythm.

You leave with a written plan, follow-up options, and a direct WhatsApp line to your consultant for quick questions in the days after.
