The basics
Why is a Prenatal Massage Essential?
Prenatal massages give special attention to mothers-to-be as their bodies are challenged, changed, and stressed during pregnancy. Our comfortable environment, relaxing atmosphere, and certified therapists are here to help you escape the trials of pregnancy.
We bring you to a calming place to unwind, indulge, and realise the joys of becoming a beautiful mum. Every protocol we use is built around pregnancy biomechanics — safer pressure points, smarter positioning, and oils screened for maternal and breastfeeding safety.

Before your session
Preparation and Consultation
Our consultant will discuss your pregnancy stage, concerns, and medical history prior to the massage. Regular sessions are recommended to maintain the benefits of a prenatal massage. Mothers-to-be must be between 16 to 36 weeks pregnant.
Past 36 weeks? We need a doctor's letter of approval before booking — safer for you, safer for baby.
On the table
Massage Techniques
You will lie on your side or in a semi-reclined position, fully supported with pillows. Our therapist uses soothing spiral and long gliding strokes to promote deep relaxation, relieve back and hip tension, and support overall comfort for both you and baby.
No prone (face-down) positioning — ever. Side-lying is the gold standard for second and third trimester massage.
What we use
Our Prenatal Massage Oils
We use a water-soluble massage oil that contains grapefruit seed extract, which makes it easily absorbed into the skin and adds moisture. Our prenatal massage oils are 100% safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
As your belly expands, our massage helps reduce dryness and itchiness, minimising visible stretch marks. Regular sessions help prevent further damage to skin — including stretch marks — and keep the bump comfortable through every growth phase.

Prenatal Massage Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
Are massages good for expecting mothers and the unborn baby?
Studies indicate that massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labour outcomes and newborn health.
The benefits of massage can improve overall prenatal health for many pregnant women. Along with the guidance and advice of a prenatal care provider, massage therapy can be incorporated into routine prenatal care as an emotional and physical health supplement proven to improve pregnancy outcomes and maternal health.
Although most masseuses have varying years of experience in providing prenatal massages, it is best to find a massage therapist who is certified in prenatal massage.
-
When should I begin prenatal massages?
We recommend mothers-to-be to go for a prenatal massage between 16 to 36 weeks of pregnancy.
If you are more than 36 weeks into your pregnancy and wish to have a prenatal massage, we require a doctor's letter of approval before commencing the service.
