Singapore's first dedicated maternity wellness centre: built for mums, since 2009.
For 17 years, Beauty Mums & Babies has been the team Singapore mothers turn to for pregnancy-safe massage, postnatal recovery, lactation support, and infant wellness. Over 30,000 mums have come to us for care. We'd love to meet you too.
The beginning
How BMB got started
After the birth of her son, founder Genah Lim widened her interest in beauty to include pregnancy and infant care. In 2009, she opened Beauty Mums & Babies because she believed maternity care in Singapore should be led by specialists, based on evidence, and friendly enough that mums look forward to it.
What started as one studio in Orchard has grown into an award-winning maternity wellness centre. Since then, our trained therapists have helped many mothers get through pregnancy and early motherhood smoothly, build strong bonds with their babies, and feel cared for at a time in their lives when they need it most.
With our strong focus on professional service, BMB has steadily expanded our range to include prenatal massage, postnatal massage, lactation massage, baby massage and Antenatal classes, all delivered by the same team and to the same standards since we first opened.

Hospital Partnerships
Featured by Mt Alvernia Hospital and partnered with leading baby brand Pigeon. Our prenatal and postnatal care is planned around each stage of pregnancy and recovery, and we ask mums to check with their doctor first.

Certified Specialists
Our therapists are trained for pregnancy and postnatal care. The Lactation Clinic is IBCLC-led. We do not cut corners: every team member trains in-house before seeing a paying client without supervision.

Two Locations + Home Visits
Orchard (Paragon) for the full range of care, Danga Bay (Johor Bahru) for our Malaysian mums, plus home postnatal massage anywhere in Singapore. We come to your home when it's hard to get out of the house, which is true for most weeks of the fourth trimester.
Our philosophy
Why we specialise
Beauty Mums & Babies opened its first studio in 2009 because we believed maternity care should be led by specialists, based on evidence, and friendly enough that mums look forward to it. Seventeen years later, more than 30,000 mums have come to us. Some came for a single prenatal massage before a long flight, some for a postnatal recovery package lasting several months, and some for baby massage that finally helped a colicky newborn sleep.
We chose to specialise instead of branching out into other areas. Every BMB treatment is designed around how the body changes in pregnancy and recovers after birth. That includes the prenatal massage Singapore mums travel across the island for, and our signature 2-in-1 postnatal jamu and bengkung wrap for recovery after birth. This means safer pressure points, better positioning, and oils and creams checked on the day of every session to make sure they are safe for mums and for breastfeeding.
Our specialists train in-house before they see a paying mum unsupervised. The Lactation Clinic is led by an IBCLC. Our facialists work from a constantly-updated pregnancy-safe ingredient list. We invest in all of this because we set out to do better than a generic spa that offers “pregnancy massage” as just one option among many.

From early pregnancy to fourth-trimester recovery, BMB is there to support you. Here's what care looks like at each stage.

Weeks 0 to 12
First trimester
We give you gentle care while your body changes. This includes pregnancy-safe facials, light massage where suitable, and one-to-one consultations to plan the months ahead. Together, we plan each trimester based on your medical history and your goals for this pregnancy.

Weeks 13 to 26
Second trimester
The honeymoon trimester. Pre natal massage to relieve growing pains and skincare adjusted for the bump. This is when most mums begin regular prenatal massage Singapore sessions with our specialists.

Weeks 27 to 40
Third trimester
Final stretch support. Side-lying prenatal massage, pelvic alignment, lighten-legs therapy for swelling, and our Antenatal Class, with colostrum collection from 37 weeks. We can also fit in a hospital-bag review and a labour-position practice session.

0 to 3 months postnatal
Fourth trimester
Postnatal recovery, jamu massage, lactation support, baby massage, and slimming, at times that suit you. We come to your home or you visit us. The fourth trimester is twelve weeks, and our care covers all of it.
