When is a Drainage Massage needed?
Our C-Section Drainage Massage can be particularly beneficial for mothers who have undergone a C-section. It is a specialised massage technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, encouraging the natural drainage of lymph fluid.
The gentle and rhythmic movements of the Drainage Massage can help alleviate post-surgery swelling and promote the circulation of lymph fluid, contributing to a faster recovery and reducing discomfort.
Addressing Common Postpartum Discomforts
- Back and shoulder pain
- Pelvic pain and instability
- Muscle tension and soreness
- Swelling and edema
- Caesarean section (C-Section) recovery
- Emotional stress and fatigue
Drainage Massage VS Postnatal Massage
Our Drainage Massage is specifically designed to target the lymphatic system, aiding in the removal of excess fluids and toxins accumulated post-surgery, particularly beneficial for C-section mums.
In contrast, our Postnatal Massage offers holistic support tailored to address a wider range of postpartum concerns beyond swelling, providing relaxation, pain relief, and overall rejuvenation.
- Promotes detox from medications during C-sec
- Eliminate excess body fluids and reduces water retention
- Eases pain related to bloating
- Relieve neck and shoulder pain from carrying and breastfeeding baby
- Help to restore the uterus to its original state
- Aid in weight loss
- Improves blood circulation
- Expel toxin and wind

Massage Techniques
You will be positioned comfortably on a massage table, typically lying on the side or in a semi-reclined position with pillows supporting the back and legs. Using gentle, rhythmic strokes, this massage technique promotes lymph flow and drainage. It's especially recommended in the early postoperative period to accelerate healing and improve lymphatic circulation, helping you feel lighter, more comfortable, and confident in your postpartum journey.

Binder & Jamu (Optional)
We use Jamu paste of pure quality, with a higher concentration than creams, aiding in preventing sensitivity and effectively shrinking the uterus. Jamu masks are used in postnatal massages for various benefits, including promoting lochia discharge, dispelling wind & dampness, and improving milk production. After applying the jamu mask, our therapist will wrap your abdomen with our cotton bengkung wrap that is breathable and washable.

Focus Areas
Our skilled therapists specialise in addressing postnatal areas of tension, focusing on the feet, ankles, lower legs, and lower back. Our targeted massage techniques aim to alleviate specific discomforts such as foot pain, ankle swelling, and leg tension, offering much-needed relief and enhancing overall well-being during your postpartum recovery.
Our Postnatal Massage Oils
Our massage oils, infused with Lemongrass and Ginger, not only provide a delightful aroma but are also effective in expelling wind, reducing water retention and bloating, as well as aid in slimming, without affecting breastfeeding.
