Description
Experience a transformative childbirth journey with our Active Childbirth Workshop, guided by senior yoga instructor Sarah Manning. This workshop is designed to empower and educate expecting couples in preparation for a natural childbirth experience.
For the birth partner, we offer invaluable insights, priorities, and tasks to support the labouring mother effectively. Together, you’ll learn the importance of your role and how to provide the best care and support during this special time.
Before the in-person class, you’ll receive a 45-minute pre-class recording that covers the various stages of labor, the role of hormones during childbirth, and why your presence as a birth partner is so crucial. This pre-class recording sets the foundation for the in-person session, so it’s essential listening.
During the two-hour class, we delve deeper into practical techniques. You’ll explore breathing exercises, positions for contractions, and positions for resting, ensuring both the mother and the birth partner feel comfortable and confident. Our expert guidance will also cover pain management options, decision-making during labor, and non-medical pain relief techniques.
Birth partners will gain hands-on experience in understanding where to be, what to do, and why. You’ll emerge from the workshop equipped with the knowledge and skills to create a supportive and empowering birthing environment, making this journey truly unforgettable.
Join us for this transformative experience as we prepare you both for the joyous and empowering natural childbirth you’ve dreamed of.
